the glorious achemanian period

when ajidehak became king, people did not like him. so a great group of persians and paarts followed by the great cyrus, captured the city of hegmataneh and started the achemanian dynasty, which was named after cyrus's grandfather, acheman. cyrus was ajidehaks grandson too. when his mother mandana, was pregnent of him, ajidehak had a dream of a great tree growing from mandana and spreading all over the world. psychos told him that this means his daughters child will take over the world and make a great civilization. that is why when cyrus was born, ajidehak ordered one of his commanders called harpag to kill him. harpag found a shepherd familytt wich had lost their child in child bearth, so harpag traded cyrus for the dead baby and showed it to ajidehak. after a while when cyrus grew up to be about 10, one of harpags friends who knew about cyrus turned against him and told the king what had happened. then cyrus was called before the king, and ajidehak told the traitors wife to make stew with their sons own meat for betraying a good friend. after eating the stew, the traitor man told the king that it was delicious and what kind of meat was used in the stew. the king told him all about it and the man went crazy.
later on cyrus was leading an army against ajidehaks rule and dethroned him. cyrus had three children called(from oldest to youngest) KAMBIZ,BARDIA,ATOUSA.cyrus died protecting his people from the massajits, wich were an uncivilized turkish tribe.

maads

the first kingdom that ruled all of iran as a united kingdom, was the maad kingdom.
these were the western arian tribe, that by uniting with the persians and a help from the partes, took out the horrible city of NEYNAVA(flute blow) wich was the capital of the ashur kingdom, not a good place!
the leader of the maads was a judge called diaoko, wich was later on chosen by his people to be the first king of the maads. he chose his hometown, hegmatane(now called hamedan) as capital city. he was famous for:1) being the first ruling king in iran
2)he had seven great stone walls built around the capital.
after he died, his son then nephew became king, one lazier than the other.
once when his nephews son was in the castle and having another lazy day , when he was assasinated by a an arab king's called garshtasp(called by the persians becuase arabs dont have the letters: 1)g 2)g as in genre 3)p 4)ch as in church) mercaneries.
after a while garshtasp crowned himself king. he was there after called ajidehak or zahak or the dragon lord becuase of his crulety to peasents. it is said in legen that he killed to young men everyday and gave their brains to his snakes to eat.
he was also the last maad king.

siberia and arians

a long time ago there lived a great group of people in siberia called the arians.
when siberia became cold, people began to move away from there and find a new home.
(the arians where blond of hair and had blue eyes, quite good looking actually!)
they seperated to 4 big groupes:1) some stayed in siberia
2)some moved into india
3)some came to iran heights
4) some went to europe
the ones that came to the iran heights, called their new home ((iran vij)) which means the home of arians. iran was a great place to choose because:1)it had lots of rivers and mountains and seas about it, which helped to defend it
2)it hadlots of plains were people could have cattles in
the arians that came to iran, divided to three other big groupes, wich were:1)the partes(which went to irans north-eastern borders)
2)maads(which went to the wetern border of iran)
3)persians(wich went to the southern borders of iran)
